As they attempt to sell the house, the owner of the house with a cryptocurrency theme has reduced the price by almost 20% in just a few months.
Waning interest in a North Hollywood crypto-themed home. A crypto-friendly home in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, appears to be having trouble selling since the price has dropped three times in less than four months.
The brilliant neon sign in the kitchen read “Cryptohouse,” and in October 2022, it was marketed for $1.2 million. Its asking price has increased to $949,00 as of January 5.
The four-bedroom, three-bath home’s listing agents brag about how its open floor plan is perfect for “smart investors” in the property description.
For some reason, the description neglects to include the room’s elegant wall coverings, which prominently feature many nonfungible tokens (NFTs) from the vintage Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunk collections in the living and dining sections.
Each of the house’s four rooms has a different themed wallpaper, one for Bitcoin BTC ($20,802 less in tickers), one for Ethereum ETH ($1,540 less), and one for Dogecoin ($0.08 less), with a space filled with a variety of crypto-positive tweets.
Even renting a home through Airbnb is an option for those who want to sample before they buy. There is no rush, though, as there are no upcoming reservations.
Make your personality an NFT and mint your heart on the blockchain.
A project is providing NFTs as a means of representing a person’s individuality graphically and claiming ownership of the finished product on the blockchain.
The “Psynesthesia” NFT collection was introduced by Tel Aviv-based artist Rubens DB, with 1,024 potential NFTs determined by the results of a personality test.
The qualities detected by the test and a DB-coded algorithm are used to build the polygon-based NFTs. In a shared press release, the procedure is described.
For instance, the warmer the colours are, and the more connections are made, the higher the agreeableness and extroversion scales are.
The finished piece of art is collectible as an NFT. Additionally, the original owner is permitted to have their artwork projected onto them in a photograph during a photo session at Rubens DB’s Tel Aviv studio.
10% of profits are given to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), a nonprofit organisation with a mission to further knowledge of psychedelic drugs.
A UK NFT investment firm has been phished
The United Kingdom-based investment company NFT Investments, which makes investments in NFT-related businesses, reported that it was the victim of a phishing attempt that cost them $250,000 in assets.
The company stated that it is “handling a cybersecurity problem” because of the attack on January 9 on the news wire of the London Stock Exchange on January 12.
According to reports, the amount stolen amounts to “less than 1%” of the company’s current net asset value.
It omitted to say which assets were taken or how the investments’ storage area’s security was breached by intruders.
NFT Investments was approached by Cointelegraph for a comment, but no response was given right away.
